Can I just say how cool it was that both of these superheroines’ personalities and powers were explored in this episode? And how well it was done?
Starfire was not shamed for being emotional. Her powers come from her emotions.
Raven was not shamed for suppressing her emotions. Her power requires amazing control.
They both. Work. They are both different kinds of strength, and they are both heroic and powerful and good. And they each learned from the other, and helped each other out by seeing from each others’ perspective, and finding the value in their differing approaches! Wow!
Fuck yes, this is how you write super-ladies, okay. There’s more than one way to be a “strong female character.” There’s all different kinds of strength. Why don’t more people GET this?
This is one of my favorite episodes of Teen Titans ever.
Food that is not fresh is not appealing to me right now. Most of the things I’ve eaten this week have been onigiri with a fresh, shrimp filling, fruit and veggie smoothies, and fresh fish.
I wanted a fish filet, but when I opened the freezer I realized it was all frozen fish. I really wish it were fresh, not pre-wrapped in plastic and stuck in an attractive package. I do have fresh shrimp, so maybe I’ll make a shrimp salad or some type of pasta.

But even though he isn’t always that way for me, I chose him because he is more stable. Am I happy enough? I am content at least. Is that enough? I don’t know.

So many new shows and movies that I love that are available here and not on Netflix! I obviously have not looked at this in a long time and it’s mundane, but I’m excited.
